It's well-known as a diving spot and home to the world famous Palancar Reef, which gives divers the opportunity to view thousands of brilliantly colored fish on this breathtaking island. Non-divers can kick back on a sun-drenched beach, parasail, jet ski, or enjoy any number of seaside activities, such as shopping in colorful marketplaces or dining in an open-air-café.
Optional Island Tour Excursion: Join us on our privately charted small group tour to see the most popular attractions and historical sites in San Miguel and Downtown Cozumel. With your local driver, see sights that include El Reloj, the historic landmark clock tower, the beautiful San Jose Del Mar church, the bay area with historic planes and jets, and the architectural and artful wonders of the quaint cathedral of Corpus Christ. We will have 3 stops and include some free time for shopping.
Puerto Costa Maya
Once a trading post for the Mayan Empire, it is now best known for its jungles, beaches, lagoons and Mayan ruins. Today, modern port facilities are making Costa Maya the perfect port of call. Take a break, relax and soak up the famous Mayan sun at Uvero Beach, complete with beach chairs, restaurant, paddle boats, snorkeling!
Optional "Costa Mayan Ruins Jungle Tour": Join us as we take a scenic one-hour drive into the rainforest to the expansive site of Chacchoben, a “lost” city that had been hidden under dense jungle foliage for centuries. In the company of knowledgeable local guides, learn about the history and civilization of the Mayan as you tour the pyramids, temples, and other structures that have been excavated so far. Keep your eyes open for tropical birds and monkeys!
The tour will be approximately a 4 hour excursion.
Optional "Costa Mayan Ruins Jungle Tour": Join us as we take a scenic one-hour drive into the rainforest to the expansive site of Chacchoben, a “lost” city that had been hidden under dense jungle foliage for centuries. In the company of knowledgeable local guides, learn about the history and civilization of the Mayan as you tour the pyramids, temples, and other structures that have been excavated so far. To secure your reservation, complete the registration form below and provide a deposit. Following registration, you will receive an email with mailing instructions. Cabin assignment is not finalized until a minimum of $250.00 USD per person is received. You can also pay by credit card via phone (4% credit card fee). All cruise reservations must be confirmed exclusively through Sail & Sing Travel to receive your VIP passes to attend any/all events, performances, Meet & Greets, etc. Final payment is due on or before 6/12/2026. A $150.00 per person cancellation or revision fee applies to all bookings. After final payment date, the cruise is non refundable. Optional cruise insurance is available. Artist lineup and prices are subject to change. Royal Caribbean does not allow passengers onboard more than 6 months pregnant or babies less than 6 months old. You may board the Mariner of the Seas on 10/03/2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ship sails at 4:00 pm from Galveston. Return flights should not be booked earlier than 12:30 PM on 10/08/2026.
